Live bluegrass music and Southern-style brunch fare heat up the patio at Urban Solace from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday, when foot-stomping performers such as the Virtual Strangers, the Shirthouse Band, Chris Clarke and Second Delivery take to the small, outdoor stage. The jubilant acoustics oblige to a menu of buttermilk griddlecakes, cheesy scrambled eggs, cheddar-chive biscuits cloaked in thick country gravy and of course, fresh-squeezed Mimosas and house-made Bloody Marys. Prices range from $6 to $9.95. The restaurant also features live jazz by local artists on Tuesday evenings.
