Exica Inc. in Carlsbad recently introduced the Vinturi Essential Aerator, which allows wine lovers to fill their stemware immediately after corking with varietals that normally require some naptime in decanters. As consumers pour the wine through the device from bottle to glass, the wine is instantly de-pressurized, resulting in fast aeration that delivers a better bouquet, enhanced flavor and smoother finish. The Vinturi retails for $39.95. It is available at Beverages & More, specialty wine stores and the company’s website.
