The parking lot of Westfield North County Mall in Escondido transforms into an Epicurean stomping ground from 6 to 9 p.m., April 25, as more than 50 wineries and 30 fine-dining restaurants flaunt their crafts for the Rhythm & Vine Festival. A menu of multi-genre musical performances is also in store. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Boys & Girls Club of San Diego, which serves at-risk youth through 13 local facilities. The extravaganza is presented by Fast Forward Event Productions, producers of the annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival in November. Tickets for Rhythm and Vine are $75 and $125 for VIP guests.
