Outside of his job as a sales rep for Stone Brewing Company, Dan McStocker began dabbling in glass blowing and quickly became addicted to it. Three years later, his works have landed in galleries, retail outlets and even in a new El Cajon watering hole called Main Tap Tavern. McStocker pushes the limits in color technology, creating vases, bowls, plates and platters boasting wispy swirls and intricate patterns, including 30 backlit beer handles at Main Tap. The handles are now available for home tapping systems at Stone Brewing Company’s retail shop in Escondido and at Hydrobrew in Oceanside.
