Tea is the reliable darling of healthy choice seekers as an immunity-boosting drink. But recently, scientists have also heralded the benefits of daily cups of coffee (four cups or fewer, due to high caffeine), including reduced risk of Type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and liver cancer. Just avoid ladling sugar and cream. So it’s your choice; dump the guilt and drink up!
Less Risk of Hypersensitivity
By Ondine Brooks Kuraoka
Hylaform is a dermal filler that, like collagen, provides temporary treatment of facial lines and acne scars. While collagen injections require an allergy test, and hence a wait for test results, hylaform does not, as hypersensitivity reactions are rare. Similar to a naturally occurring substance in the body, hylaform helps retain moisture and elasticity. As with collagen, it is injected slightly below the skin’s surface to replace the body’s skin-firming substance, which diminishes with age. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, hylaform is safe and effective when applied with an understanding of the patient’s goals
