Jumping and Bone Density

Our bones don’t want to take it easy. Information from the National Osteoporosis Foundation explains that when we place demands on our bones in the form of weight-bearing and resistance exercises, our bodies respond by maintaining crucial bone density. Simply jumping up and down for a few minutes each day can make a difference. Those with osteoporosis should consult a physician on the best forms of impact exercise.
