Skin Glow

We all want healthy, radiant skin. It’s always been a sign of health, youth, and vitality. Here are five simple ways to glow…
1. Exercise Not only is it good for overall health, it’s great for your skin. Daily physical activity gets the blood pumping, resulting in improved circulation, which results in healthier skin.
2. Diet The phrase, “You are what you eat” is a perfect metaphor for how the foods you eat affect the appearance of your skin. A diet high in sugar, saturated fat, and alcohol can make your skin dull, inflamed, and more prone to wrinkles.
3. Vitamins Take a high-quality supplement to make up for what your diet lacks. Your food choices may be great, but most of us need that little something extra when it comes to vitamins and nutrients.
4. Sunscreen Protect your skin from the sun’s damaging rays by using sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days. Don’t overlook often forgotten spots like the chest and neck, both of which tend to absorb more rays than other less exposed parts of the body.
5. Don’t break the bank Expensive doesn’t always mean better. Some of the country’s leading dermatologists have said you don’t have to use expensive products for skin care, and that those pricey potions aren’t any more effective than less expensive drug store brands.
